Tales of Helmetland is a six part series of novellas, written about key characters who inhabit the kingdoms there. Each part focuses on a new character and shows a different behaviour of the land's inhabitants. In the fourth tale from Helmetland, a girl is forced out of her home to go on a perilous journey. Things go badly, really badly, and she ends up seeking refuge in a once familiar place. As she gains confidence and her strength, she strikes out in an attempt to restore order to her world.
As she goes through this metamorphosis, she has to confront some difficult truths and learn to adapt in a hostile environment if she wants to survive.
